Discovering the Complete Woman Vanita Ratnam was India’s first ever reality show designed exclusively for mothers.It was a contest that endeavored to discover the Complete Woman, who combined in herself a perfect blend of artistic talents, mental skills and strength of character. This path-breaking talent hunt show was aimed at ordinary housewives who were shackled to the hearth but had the capability of metamorphosing into extraordinary women when placed in crunch situations. Vanita Ratnam-1 launched in 2007 virtually transformed lives, stimulating woman to break through barriers inflicted by society and soar free to their full potential – and in the process send ripples of realization across the male mental attitude in Kerala. Many of the finalists of the previous 2 editions have found a foothold in the film field.
