Some of the very popular stars have approached their association, the Cine and Television Artists Association of India with their complaints against mimicry artistes who they say are making a mockery of their style of acting and their dialogue delivery. They have asked the association to pass a resolution restraining these artistes from indulging in their acts on television, in ads and in shows which they say harms their careers and causes great damage to their images as stars. They have asked the association to take a decision before the actors can think of taking to legal solution. The association has taken a serious note of their complaints and is trying its best to come to an amicable solution before matters take a serious turn which may go legal too. The association is also caught in a fix because both parties are also members of the association and the president of the association is none other than Johnny Lever, the greatest mimicry artist who set a trend of miming famous stars many years ago.
